NCP Secure Entry macOS Client Version 3.0 Enables Secure VPN Connections Between Networks

Sunnyvale, CA (November 29, 2017) – NCP engineering today announced the Secure Entry macOS Client version 3.0 for secure virtual private network (VPN) connections. Supporting the macOS 10.13 High Sierra operating system, new features of the NCP Secure Entry macOS Client include IKEv2 redirect, optimization of the IPSec stack, and the option to enable FIPS inside encryption during installation.

Mobile users who implement the NCP Secure Entry macOS Client onto their laptops and tablets can securely access corporate networks from anywhere in the world. Seamless roaming enables reliable and uninterrupted VPN connections even when switching between networks. Additionally, an intuitive graphical user interface shows all connection and security states before and during data connections.

“The NCP Secure Entry macOS Client provides enhanced security for the latest macOS operating system from strong authentication, to data encryption, and easy VPN access,” said Patrick Oliver Graf, CEO of NCP engineering. “As employees are increasingly accessing corporate networks from remote devices, secure data connections must be enforced to reduce the risk of cyberattacks. As a one-click solution, the new macOS Client automatically initiates the setup of a VPN tunnel and selects an appropriate firewall policy.”

The NCP Secure Entry macOS Client provides an integrated personal firewall, integrated internet connector, and a GUI that looks and functions similarly across all devices. It is compatible with all common VPN Gateways and designed for single users and small installations.
